never thought that your absence could be so unsettling. From a faculty that practically mugs without any consciousness of time, i should have know better than to place any hope on your "i will try to come". Anyway, things will definitely not work out so i better brace myself for many more bouts of disappointment. oh well.

A close friend fell out really badly with her boyfriend and poor me got implicated as the mediator. it was not easy being Aunt Agony. Having to consider what to tell each party is such a headache. i seriously thought things would screw up even further because of some stupid comments i made. but i guess providing them with a listening ear was the least i could do for them.

Sigh. Witnessing the perils of loves make singlehood so much more appealing. Anyway, i always thought that now is simply not the time to be wallowing in such tragic love stories. pretty pessimistic view but at least half of the couples i know wished they never met. And all the tears, pain, misery, compromises just make love a bad deal for all the freedom i am enjoying now. I have to admit there are times when i wished i had a him to turn to. But ultimately he is someone who can make happier happiness and sweeter sweetness but also sadder sadness, a more depressing depression...

Saw my civics tutor scurrying along the corridor yesterday but did not approach him. He still looks like a gingerbread man! wahahaha. with beady eyes that are exactly like blackcurrents. to think that my tutor is now a fellow student - wierd. But i will probably be seeing him around quite frequently as he is supposedly doing his Masters in Southeast Asian Studies. but he was from geography! hmm. Maybe there was not enough geog tutors and he was a fake. haha. he was not around half the time due to some obscure 'family obligations'. Thanks to him, we either went early to school or stayed back late for extra or replacement lessons that would be cancelled. That gave us alot of free time to pile on the fats at the canteen! always thought the other totally-sarcastic and walnut-looking geography tutor were in some kind of cahoots with him to come up with excuses for his absence. Anyway, geography does not need too much instructional teaching. All i could remember of the subject was the mountains of notes i did not read.

But all in all, he's a nice guy. so i shall say 'hi' the next time we meet :) hopefully he has already forgotten the time when i screwed up my AO level Japanese registration and nearly got him into trouble. oops. maybe i should practise my rushing-for-class look just in case.

Japanese Karaoke session starting in 45 mins. Have i mentioned i joined Geyao as well? I find it hard to describe to people when they ask me what that cca is. I would go like this - "it's a group of people who likes to sing chinese pop songs. They do some song composition and performances in and outside school". Vague? But most people go "orh~~~" knowingly so i guess this definition will do. Am so i am packed every weekday evening other than monday, my free day :) long weekend! yay.

Until the real work and projects start flooding in and i kick myself for joining too much stuff, i shall hang on to the belief that a busy girl is a happy girl.
