Am just really tired nowadays. Can't believe i am feeling burnt out less than halfway through the sem! But seriously, i did not do much work nor was there much to be done. And the projects are just starting - all 5 of them together. Arrgh. 2 of which are 30% and they are only based on the presentation and the handouts. It's freaky to think how much this can affect the final grade, but i guess less stress (i just noticed all these end with double S-es which means nothing anyway) for the low-weightage exams is not a bad thing either. Give and take lah.

Been a slacker this week. with regards to my ccas that is. Did not go for juggling and the japanese karaoke club. Somehow, things have changed and the people i am familiar with are either no longer there or not coming regularly :( But the acivities are still alright. But it's just tiring to make new friends and be good and chatty company. And i do not really have the same frequency with the karaoke people. Perhaps i did not or was too lazy to make an effort to know them better.

Had a really heartwarming outing over the weekend with a banana-crazy Japanese teacher. It just felt so warmy-fuzzy! All the memories of the afternoons spent at MOELC laughing over silly mistakes and corny jokes just came flooding back. i really enjoyed learning the language - it was a much-needed break from the monotony of school life back then! Although it was still an examinable subject, it just didn't like it!
Sensei 'tricked' us into thinking that it was his birthday (or rather we made a really bad guess which was way way wrong) and got him a droolicious brownie cake! We had dinner at a Sudanese restaurant in Suntec with excellent sevice from the males while the females were just so darn blackface - you thought they were having a mass pms session. We did not know that the restaurant had birthday service - they boomed the song over and over again with the audio system. Haha. rather embarrassing especially when it was technically not anyone's birthday at all! But it was really funny.
Anyway, we chatted and reminisced with our limited Japanese and Sensei's fluent english. It was comforting to hear that this fantastic sesnei is carrying on his teaching profession at Asia-Pacific University (APU). Really cool uni with all the international students. He invited us to his home in Kyushu and we all hope to really make the trip come true next year :)

Yay! Geyao on friday. Had a great session of composing last week - my group managed to come up with a new tune for an established song. And there was the usual presentation of songs after a tough time of brainstorming. The people there are just really friendly and approachable. Am looking forward to seeing you :) heehee.
