paperkites.
plain, basic and
seemingly too fragile
to withstand the relentless winds.
yet with a simple resilence
they climb
the rungs of heavens
and find their place among the clouds.
let us be strong in the struggles of
when to let go
and hold back
just at the right moment.
but we are not alone. not anymore.
with hands held together,
we will soar.
it will not be easy. but let us hang on.
for there are bluer skies
awaiting above
if we learn how to love.
