so it seems like i am a hard-core elang major. woohoo and proud of that!! really never imagine that i will be doing english in uni. it's a crazy crazy world! haha.
am actually still planning my modules. it's taking such a long time this sem. deciding between EL3251 who is taught by (arrghhh) a nice santa claus-look alike tutor who cannot teach and a level 4000 module called Multilingualism. hmm i will most probably go for the latter. same time slot so no changes to my timetable...phew. loving my 3-day slack week ;)
oh oh i got a room in Raffles Hall! Moved some stuff in yesterday with my parents and they seem quite happy with the room. i like the location too! it's facing the cultural centre, quite a peripheral location. suburban and a distane away from the hype and intense networking of the hall centre. oooo geography!! ah...finally a room to call my own...after 21yrs of not having enough private space. all are welcome to drop in anytime! i will staying over from today. shall not be involved in much hall activities i guess *hermit*

was hanging out with barrel and joy at secret recipes and ordered some cakes. then we wanted fries. normal fries. the waitress came by awhile later and said apologetically (after apologizing many times for the lack of cakes..arrgh): "Sorry we don't have the normal fries, would like smiley fries?" that sounded so ridiculous but we went ahead with the order. which was a good thing! there you go. they were yummy and darn fun to eat. we happily bit chins and eyes of them. ahh sadistic friends i have. tsktsk...grin.
